Hop for Hope

Hop for Hope is a collaborative art exhibition showcasing 40 larger-than-life fibreglass kangaroos decorated by iconic Australian artists and identities. The kangaroos will be showcased at the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery before being auctioned to raise funds for the Alannah and Madeline Foundation– a charity raising funds to project children from violence and bullying. I am honoured to be one of the artists working on this project and I currently am in the midst of preparing my concept for the hands-on painting phase which will take place over the next couple of weeks. Alacran bottle decoration contest

Alacran is having a contest to decorate their black matte tequila bottles. My entry was inspired by the Alacran scorpion device, the distinctive black and white bottle and also some very cool marketing Alacran has done in the past, which showed the black bottle “splattering” other objects with black.

Mali in the City launched!

On Wednesday night the Melbourne Zoo hosted a gathering of the 50 painted elephants, artists and sponsors for a “sneak peek” to celebrate the upcoming launch of the Mali in the City public art event. The day has finally come and the elephants are now in their city locations and open to the public for viewing!Read More

Painted Malis revealed at Myer

Four painted Malis were unveiled today in the windows of the Melbourne Myer store. I was so excited to be chosen as one of the four! My elephant will be displayed alongside the works of David Bromley, Graham Base and Mali herself for the next two weeks.Read More
