Mali in the City raises over $450,000

Wow! What a wonderful result. The auction for the Mali in the City event was held last Thursday with an amazing display of painted elephants and generosity from bidders. The whole event raised over $450,000 which will go towards the conservation efforts of the Melbourne Zoo. My elephants sold for $5,500 and $9,000 so I’m pretty happy with a total $14,500 being raised for the zoo by the two elephants I painted. I have been contacted by one of the buyers and the other is known by a friend so I’m also really happy to hear that they have both gone to good homes.Read More

This big night is fast approaching! The one and only chance for people to claim one of the 50 elephants painted for the Mali in the City event. Both of my painted elephants “Elephantasy” and “Here Today…” along with the 48 others will be auctioned off on the 25th of October.Read More

Mali in the City launched!

On Wednesday night the Melbourne Zoo hosted a gathering of the 50 painted elephants, artists and sponsors for a “sneak peek” to celebrate the upcoming launch of the Mali in the City public art event. The day has finally come and the elephants are now in their city locations and open to the public for viewing!Read More
