The series started off with the kookaburra, followed by the possum and now the third coin has been released, which features an echidna surrounded by native Australian flora.Read More
I’m pretty excited to announce the launch of a new series of 1oz silver coins I illustrated for Coin Club (now Australian Gold & Silver Exchange). The series is called “Mythical Creatures” and will feature 5 different mythical creatures. I believe we are going to be offering an extremely limited edition of 50 signed by myself (I won’t be signing any more after that) but I’m not sure when these will be available. Wow! What a wonderful result. The auction for the Mali in the City event was held last Thursday with an amazing display of painted elephants and generosity from bidders. The whole event raised over $450,000 which will go towards the conservation efforts of the Melbourne Zoo. My elephants sold for $5,500 and $9,000 so I’m pretty happy with a total $14,500 being raised for the zoo by the two elephants I painted. I have been contacted by one of the buyers and the other is known by a friend so I’m also really happy to hear that they have both gone to good homes.Read More

Wow I’ve gone a whole month without posting anything and yet I’ve been so busy. I’m not able to publish a lot of the work just yet but I did finish this logo recently and since there isn’t a section on my website for logos I thought I’d post some of the other ones I’ve done. I enjoy creating graphic part of the logos, there’s something about the challenge of creating a visual metaphor in a simple way that is quite appealing (although equally frustrating at times!).Read More

On Wednesday night the Melbourne Zoo hosted a gathering of the 50 painted elephants, artists and sponsors for a “sneak peek” to celebrate the upcoming launch of the Mali in the City public art event. The day has finally come and the elephants are now in their city locations and open to the public for viewing!Read More
