This month the Perth Mint launched its Dreaming Downunder silver coin series featuring my illustration of a sleeping kangaroo curled up in a nest. The illustration is part of a series of cute Australian animals sleeping in nests surrounded by beautiful native flora and roses.

The auction for the 40 larger-than-life kangaroos ended last week with the Hop for Hop event raising over $160,000 for the Alannah and Madeline foundation. Read More
My contribution for Hop for Hope is finally finished! The 1.2m tall fibreglass kangaroo (now named “Jill”) patiently sat in my kitchen for almost a month while I painted, detailed and varnished her coat. She is now complete and awaiting delivery to the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie and Ice Creamery in Victoria where she will join the 39 other decorated kangaroos for the Hop for Hope exhibition. Read More
To celebrate 2014, the Year of the Horse, I painted eight running horses on behalf of Australian Gold and Silver Exchange (AGSX). This illustration is inspired by the popular Chinese eight horse paintings which are often hung in a business or dwelling to bring success and good fortune. Read More
Donna Dwyer contacted me last year to illustrate the cover and I was stoked to hear that the main characters were budgerigars. The cover features Moo (the central character) alongside Barney, Fudge and Yukey with Plum the magpie and Horace the bat in tow. The night parrots (a species of extremely rare and elusive Australian parrot) can also be seen flying with the unlikely heroes through the branches of Magic, the tree.Read More
Below are a two illustrations from a series of Christmas cards I planned to get printed this year. I was working on these around October when I noticed Christmas merchandise had already hit the shelves (!). So I will probably put them aside for a while and prepare the rest of the set much earlier next year.Read More
