Six cute little furry friends from downunder are about to make their debut on an adorable range of fabric!

I’ve spent many hours working and negotiating with suppliers to have my Little Aussie Friends animal patterns printed onto fabric. The fabric I have chosen is 120gsm 100% cotton poplin which is not too heavy and is soft to the touch. I can imagine it being great for Australian themed nurseries, fabric crafts or adorable clothing for little Aussie kids! I hope people from abroad will like these fabrics too with its unique Australian animal prints!

The fabric features the six Australian animals that made an appearance on licensed tableware/homewares Ashdene last year. The animals include a kangaroo, platypus, echidna, wombat, kookaburra and koala and the fabrics incorporate a variety of native Australian flora.

I selected a Mint, Peach and Grey palette for this series so that the fabric range can be gender neutral or gender specific, depending on the fabric designs you choose.

I’ve extended pre-orders with a special pre-order price as I’ve been slow to post this update.

I’m both nervous and excited about ordering my range of fabrics! Hopefully if this project goes well I will also create one featuring my Wild Animal Babies series of illustrations.
